Which platform am I using?
Personal Platform
You’re more than welcome to provide a professionally recorded voicemail or welcome greeting. Simply prepare it as a WAV or MP3 file and email it to us. We’ll upload it to your service right away.
It’s also worth remembering that Voicemail and Welcome greetings should be fairly short as your callers will have to wait for it to finish playing before they get connected with you (welcome greeting), or before they can leave a message for you (voicemail). Our recommended greeting length is between 10 seconds to 15 seconds only.
Business Platform
The business platform lets you upload a library of media files, including welcome greetings, hold music, and voicemail messages for when you’re unavailable or outside of schedule – all from within your Dashboard. These can be managed by:
- Log into your uConnected Dashboard
- Click Greetings in the left sidebar
- Click New Greeting on the right side to record or upload a greeting
